Hello there! My name is Jeff.

I’m an ephemeral locus of consciousness that gravitates toward film, nature, and breakfast burritos. One day, I will manage to combine all three.

I shoot, produce, and edit films, social media, and science communication videos. I’ve also narrated independent and broadcast nature documentaries.

My first film, True Places Never Are, was shortlisted for a student BAFTA, nominated for RTS best student documentary, and has screened at film festivals around the globe.

My new science communication series Nature is Surreal is live on Youtube, with a new episode dropping once a week.

I’ve worked on projects for the BBC, ZDF, Arte, Nat Geo, Discovery, Love Nature, and more.

I love the tried and true “blue chip” nature documentary format, but I think it’s time to mix things up a bit. I want to see more story, more science, and more surreality. Maybe you’ll join me.
